The Seventh Root: Structural
This is the root where my chiropractic background really comes alive. Over the years, I witnessed again and again how spinal alignment impacts the whole body—sometimes in ways that surprise people. Better posture, fewer aches, even better digestion (yes… helping people poop is absolutely a thing!).
Personally, I experience chiropractic as a full-body reset. After an adjustment, I feel like my body can finally take a deep breath again, as if everything is flowing the way it’s meant to. That connection to the body’s natural power never ceases to amaze me.
Becoming a chiropractor was a dream come true, and caring for people through that work was such a gift. Helping restore movement, watching pain lift, and seeing joy return to someone’s face was healing not just for them—but for me too.
The Framework That Holds It All Together
Your structure—bones, muscles, joints, and posture—creates the framework for every other system in your body. When alignment is off, it can impact not just movement, but digestion, breathing, and even mood. This system protects and guides your entire nervous system. The design is so amazing!
Why Structural Health Matters
Poor posture or misalignment can lead to pain, fatigue, and reduced mobility. But when your structure is supported, energy flows freely, and your body functions at its best.
Supporting Your Structure
Practice good ergonomics at work and at home
Stretch daily to release tension
Strengthen your core for stability
Be mindful of posture while sitting and standing
Seek chiropractic, massage, or bodywork to regularly care for your body
Gentle Challenge
Take a “posture check” once an hour today. Roll your shoulders back, align your spine, and take a deep breath. Notice how instantly different your body feels.
